What made you want to become a recruiter?
I wanted to become a recruiter when I saw the positive impact my hires were making in a previous company I was working as an HR Director. Not only did I see the results but I also saw that goals were being met for both the company and the employees. That's when I realized that I had a talent for matching candidates to the right roles. I enjoyed seeing the synergy and the success.
Can you share a professional achievement you're particularly proud of?
Working for Talmo & Associates where I can mentor recruiters and watch them implement different hiring techniques and help our clients and our candidates. Makes me proud to watch them have big wins!

My career started as an educator before making a career change.
What's your go-to lunch meal?
Chicken salad
How do you normally spend your weekends?
On the weekends, I either hang out with my teenage daughter or lay out on the beach with a book or journal.
What's your favorite way to start the day?
To start my day, I drink a glass of water and schedule my day out.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Continue to mentor/ train people that want to become successful recruiters.

I love the passion and drive that this team possesses, each recruiter is determined to help out both our clients and candidates!
What made you want to become a recruiter?
My mom owned a staffing agency so I have been around it since I was born. I always admired the gratitude that candidates showed when they got a position or even found their forever job! I knew I wanted a job that was going to help people, so it seemed like a natural fit for me!
Can you share a professional achievement you're particularly proud of?
Of course landing big clients or filling direct hire positions is always an achievement, but my biggest achievements are when I hear how I helped change an applicants life. My proudest moment was when a young man came into my office about 3 years after I found him a job and he told me that because of the position I got him he found his career, his wife, and they are now expecting a baby boy! It is moments like those that got me into this field and moments like those that keep me in it!
Share a fun fact about yourself that your coworkers might not know:
I am an absolute Fantasy Football nut! Year round I am listening to podcasts, keeping up with the draft and rookies, following injury and training camp reports, and everything else you can think of to keep me ready for the upcoming season!
What's your go-to lunch meal?
The old school PB&J without crust.
How do you normally spend your weekends?
With my family! I have a baby boy who is almost 1 and he takes up most of my time and I wouldn't want it any other way. Whether it is at home or on the go you can almost always find me with him, my husband, and our husky Ivy! We enjoy anything sports related, being outside, or just watching movies at home.
What's your favorite way to start the day?
Waking up my son! His smile each morning is the best way to start the day.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Professionally, I see myself in a role where I continue to help people and get them on the path to success! Personally, I see maybe another little one and a couple more dogs added to the family!
What's your favorite part about working at Talmo?
The company culture is great. I work with nice and unproblematic people so it isn't as stressful.
What made you want to become a recruiter?
I became a recruiter because I genuinely have a passion for helping people. Although I am very conservative and introverted at time their is a small side of me that is extroverted and being such a service-oriented person I like to be a people pleaser. I get joy from helping others in need.
Can you share a professional achievement you're particularly proud of?
With only 3 official years in the workforce I have grown as a professional into leadership roles and continue to grow.
Share a fun fact about yourself that your coworkers might not know:
I really enjoy anything that has to include travelling, adventuring food spots, and adrenaline rush activities such as skydiving, ziplining, etc.
What's your go-to lunch meal?
Sushi and/or ramen
How do you normally spend your weekends?
Depending on the mood I can seek adventure or I will have lazy days
What's your favorite way to start the day?
Sleeping in for a bit and walking my pup because he's always so excited
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I hope to finalize my college education and have grown into a better version of me that is disciplined owning a house with lots of animals!

Opportunity to expand my skills and assist people in finding the right opportunity.
Can you share a professional achievement you're particularly proud of?
I was able to manage and cultivate new business from the largest freight-forwarding companies in the world. Particularly in an industry that I was introduced to in a short amount of time.

I enjoy writing on my time off for recreational reasons.

How do you normally spend your weekends?
Spending time with family & friends, reading, going to the movie theaters.
What's your favorite way to start the day?
Writing down my activities and goals on my daily planner.

Working in a leadership role in an ever-expanding industry.

I would say the flexibility to think outside the box and find solutions to our customers needs and candidates.
What made you want to become a recruiter?
In my previous line of employment, I realized I enjoyed helping people and building lasting relationships. I wanted to do something where I can have an impact in people's life and make a difference.
Can you share a professional achievement you're particularly proud of?
I would say learning and growing. When I first started I had no experience and didn't know anything about recruiting/staffing except how to interview. Now I am able to approach and create relationships with clients. I have a strong understanding on how to use different platforms and means of finding top talent candidates.
Share a fun fact about yourself that your coworkers might not know:
About 3 years ago I gave myself a goal of traveling more. I enjoy traveling and trying new foods that are specialty to the location or what they are known for. Again guilty pleasure I enjoy going to other countries fast food chains and exploring their different menus then what we normally have at home.
What's your go-to lunch meal?
My go to lunch varies, I go through different faces/cravings. But my top choices would be tacos, salads, and my guilty pleasure fast food.
How do you normally spend your weekends?
I enjoy social gatherings, meeting up with friends and family for brunch or dinner. I also enjoy staying active, I play sports on the weekends as much as possible.
What's your favorite way to start the day?
I have a major sweet tooth, my favorite way to start my day would be with a nice cup of coffee and a pastry.

I would like to be in a leadership/mentor role.
