Job:  Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Itasca, IL

Job type: Onsite only 8:00am- 5pm

Pay rate: $19/hr

 

The Warehouse Coordinator is a customer service role, working with efficiency and the highest level of customer service standards.

 

Essential Duties:

• Respond to all inquiries concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc. in a timely and friendly manner. This includes tracking shipments and handling return of merchandise.

• Report feedback to management, acting as a liaison between warehouse, customer and company

• Oversee all documents regarding orders. Process and input all customer orders, generate reports and forms, and ensure accuracy of documents and all information required to complete orders. Keep and maintain all paperwork, including running and distributing reports.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with warehouse staff, account managers and other departments to ensure completion and timely scheduling of orders or inquiries.

• Maintain inventory data. Input, update and check inventory lists. Check for accuracy and investigate if there is a discrepancy.

• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.

• Greet warehouse visitors including vendors and customers and report feedback and observations to management for process improvement.

 

Qualifications

• Ability to strictly comply with company procedures, OSHA and MSDS Standards

• Ability to use common computer software such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Experience with other warehouse management software strongly preferred.

• Previous administrative, general office and customer service experience required

• Previous warehouse, logistics or shipping experience required

• Can work independently, problem solve and take ownership of actions and job process

• Must be comfortable working in an office and in a warehouse environment.

 

Work Environment:

• Office/clerical work that will require work in the warehouse to resolve discrepancies, meet customers and inspect orders.
