Production Floater (Manufacturing Assembly)

Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a versatile Production Floater to join our team. In this role, you won’t just be stuck at one station; you will be the "gears" that keep our production moving, stepping in where needed most to build sub-assemblies, manage inventory, and ensure our workflow remains seamless.

Location: Minden, NV

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm

Pay: $20hr

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Production Floater, your day will be dynamic. You will support various departments by:

  • Precision Assembly: Building units and sub-assemblies (closures, guides, and valves) at benches using hand and power tools.

  • Inventory & Flow: Building pump flanges, ball valves, and isolation couplings to ensure downstream production never hits a bottleneck.

  • Quality Control: Inspecting components for fit and finish, reporting any deviations, and maintaining accurate daily production logs.

  • Technical Support: Assisting with TIG welding for large and small valve production.

  • Digital Tracking: Accurately entering completed parts into our inventory system via tablet or computer.

  • Safety & Organization: Maintaining a clean, "lean" workspace and adhering to all safety protocols to protect yourself and your teammates.

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • Dexterity & Skill: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to work comfortably with tools.

  • Adaptability: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to switch tasks based on production priorities.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 70 lbs (large valves), and maneuver carts weighing up to 1,500 lbs.

  • Communication: Clear verbal and written skills; ability to follow complex technical directions and work independently.

  • Reliability: A proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.

  • Experience: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.

Why Join Us?

  • Dynamic Work: No two days are the same.

  • Skill Growth: Opportunity to learn multiple facets of the manufacturing process, from assembly to TIG welding assistance.

  • Team Environment: Join a culture that values accuracy, flexibility, and getting along with others.
