 Job Title: Junior Customs Entry Writer – Air & Sea Imports

We are seeking a Junior Entry Writer to support our Dallas customs brokerage team. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of air and sea import experience who is looking to build their career in customs entry and compliance. The Junior Entry Writer will primarily handle processing ITs (Immediate Transport entries), T&Es (Transportation & Exportation entries), and managing email requests for the CHB (Customs House Brokerage) team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review ITs and T&Es accurately and in a timely manner.

• Organize and prioritize email requests for the CHB team, ensuring clear communication and follow-up.

• Assist in preparing and filing import documentation for air and sea shipments.

• Support the team in ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company standards.

• Maintain accurate records and filing systems for entries.

• Collaborate with brokers, carriers, and internal teams to keep shipments on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in air and ocean imports (customs entry knowledge preferred).

• Basic understanding of U.S. Customs processes, ITs, and T&Es.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ACE or brokerage systems a plus.

• Eager to learn and grow within a customs brokerage environment.
