 We are seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Assistant Operations Manager to support daily operations across our property management, marina, and event space. The ideal candidate is a proactive team leader with a hospitality mindset, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $24-25/hr
Location: South Lake Tahoe, CA

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing all facets of the business, including property operations, marina services, and event space coordination.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, assist with sales activities, manage reservations, and issue membership passes.

  • Monitor and respond to incoming phone calls, messages, and voicemail systems to ensure prompt and professional communication.

  • Assist with financial tasks including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and payroll processing.

  • Supervise marina staff and ensure proper shift coverage and operational readiness at all times.

  • Respond to guest issues and service concerns, using de-escalation techniques to resolve complaints and maintain guest satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a hospitality or guest service environment.

  • Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes (preferred).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a calm and customer-first approach to conflict resolution.

  • Availability to work Wednesday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays as needed.
