Job Title: Entry Writer – Customs Brokerage
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay: $26–$27 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Entry Writer to join our Customs Brokerage team. This role is responsible for preparing and filing accurate import entries in compliance with CBP and PGA regulations. The ideal candidate has hands-on FTZ (Form 214).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and transmit import entries (CBP Form 7501) via ACE/ABI

• Classify goods using HTS and calculate duties, taxes, and ADD/CVD

• File FTZ admissions (CBP Form 214) and manage zone transfers

• Review import documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance

• Respond to CBP holds, exams, RFIs, and post-entry amendments

• Coordinate with clients, carriers, and government agencies to ensure timely clearance

• Maintain accurate records and meet all regulatory deadlines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customs brokerage or Entry Writer experience

• Direct FTZ (Form 214) filing experience required

• Strong knowledge of HTS classification, valuation, and PGA requirements

• Proficient in ACE/ABI and brokerage systems

• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
