Warehouse Associate

Location: Gardena, CA
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Work Location: On-site

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse operations team in Gardena, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) warehouse environment and be skilled in shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, forklift operation, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to safely load, unload, move, stack, and stage products.
• Receive inbound shipments and accurately put away inventory.
• Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load trailers and containers while ensuring shipment accuracy.
• Perform quality inspections and report damaged or incorrect products.
• Process shipping documents, billing, delivery orders, and data entry.
• Use WMS systems to track inventory, process orders, and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Coordinate container drayage and transportation with vendors.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Repack, weigh, and label products as needed.
• Maintain warehouse supplies and support daily warehouse operations.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Lift and manually handle cartons and merchandise as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer and vendor inquiries.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of warehouse experience in a 3PL environment.
• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SSA WMS 4000, SAP, AS400, Red Prairie, Manhattan, or similar.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
