Role: Intransit Agent

Salary range: $21-$23/hr

Job type:Full-Time, in office

Location: Torrance, CA

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, sea, or truck, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels.

• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.

• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments.

• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.

• Provide Ad-hoc rates upon request.

• Meet others Export KPI

• All other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Freight forwarding experience required, 1+ years minimum

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates.

• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Bilingual in English and another language a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software and systems a must
