 We are a global transport and logistics company providing supply chain solutions. Seeking seasonal Air Export Agents to join immediately!

 

Job Type: Temp

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30AM-5:30PM

Pay Rate: $21-23/hr

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels.
• Ensure all bookings are accurate and updated accordingly.
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Coordinate or manage the transfer with the warehouse team and linehaul trucker.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to Stations on the status of their shipments.
• Manage relationships with stations, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.
• Provide ad-hoc rate upon request.

 

Educational background / Work experience

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates.

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

 Language skills

• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

 Computer Literacy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred.
