Job: Accounting Clerk

Location: Torrance, CA

Job type: In-person only, M-F 8am-5pm

Pay rate: $19-$22 DOE

Duties:

• Applies cash, credit card, check and wire transfer payments to accounts
• Reconciles customer accounts
• Investigates and resolves issues with proper application of cash receipts
• Creates and maintains office reports
• Inspects and reviews chargeback and retrieval cases
• Balances daily cash receipts against lock box totals
• Assists with audits as necessary
• Participates in month/year-end closing
• Recognizes and reports any bad debt, billing, or collection issue

Experience:

• Data entry and posting experience
• Strong Customer Service skills, especially with managing accounts
• Experience with ACH, cash, credit , checks
• A/R experience strongly preferred
• Warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Associate degree in Finance or related 
• 2+ years’ basic accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet experience
• Familiarity with NetSuite, preferred
