Talmo & Associates is now hiring for a Mill Crew in production in Camino, CA.

Shifts Available:

-Stacker Warehouse: 1st shift from 6am to 3pm

-2nd shift from 3 pm to 12 am

-Warehouseman: 9 am to 6 pm

Job Description: under direct supervision assists with the day-to-day mill operations which includes feeding raw materials into machinery, assembling goods on production lines, and monitoring the process. In addition, the Mill Crew carries out basic quality checks such as testing of product or packaging before shipping by adequately storing all necessary supplies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 Operate production equipment as assigned.

 Maintain the warehouse machines.

 Store products and materials.

 Meet deadlines of individual production tasks during shift.

 Report any issues or defective product and/or machinery to lead.

 Keep worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products.

 Follow Barsotti’s safety and quality guidelines.

 Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 Familiarity with power tools and machinery a plus

 Ability to detect potential problems with equipment

 Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 Self-starter with ability to manage priorities

 Good communication and teamwork skills

 Ability to problem solve when needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

*The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.

*This position requires physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to

complete jobs in various areas.

*Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time

*Work in all weather conditions including work in cold or wet environments, and the

ability to tolerate exposure to typical noises associated mill and production work.

*This position does require the ability to perform under stressful conditions and high-volume demands.
