We are looking for Import Administrative Assistant in Los Angeles, CA. the essential job duties include data entry and filling of various documents.
Position: Import Administrative Assistant
Job Type: Temp-Hire
Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $22-24/hr.
Location: Los Angeles CA (DTLA)
Essential Job Duties:
- Data entry and filing of various documents such as:
- Delivery Orders.
- File and attach Shipping Documents in ASC. (arrival notice packing list, commercial invoice, SIMP, Master BOL, various certificates)
- Cross check arrival notice with ISF and documents in ASC.
- Entering ISF, purchase orders, code dates and receiving tallies in ASC.
- Get all the necessary backup from vendors for invoices to be processed and paid.
- Help on invoicing disputes, call or e-mail vendors with sufficient backup to dispute charges.
- Assist Import facilitator on drayage, warehousing, and other duties that may arise.
- Crossover tasks with other departments
- Willingness to learn other duties to support import department.
- Work on Ad Hoc reports requested by the import facilitator or senior management.
