Seeking a Production Manager to join our local manufacturing operation. We are a reputable electric and ergonomic desk manufacturer located in Los Angeles, CA. Our values have defined us and our products. The Production Manager will plan and monitor workflows on the production floor as well as the material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations and efficiency. Their main responsibility is to run a smooth and efficient facility while ensuring a safe environment and quality control.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Mon-Fri; 6:30am-2:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

·       Implement production strategies within the warehouse to improve staff

·       productivity, increase efficiency and reduce costs

·       Set forth quality standards and measures

·       Work with inventory managers to schedule deliveries and pick-ups of materials and products

·       Review orders and production schedules to ensure production deadlines are being met

·       Liaise with multiple departments to maintain stock levels and ensure the quality of materials

·       Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs

·       Plan work schedules

·       Supervise and motivate a team of workers, review worker performance, and identify training needs

·       Ensure that production milestones and goals are being met while adhering to approved budgets

·       Monitor select equipment/ machinery and take responsibility for its maintenance

·       Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times

Must have:

- 8+ years working in production as a director or manager

- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar

- In-depth knowledge of production cycles, production planning, risk management, quality control and safety regulations

- Excellent leadership skills having managed 10 or more production workers

- Excellent communication, organization and time management

- Experience with supply chain and accounting
