Talmo & Associates is assisting a major logistics company with hiring a Customer Service Lead to work at their Long Beach location. Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, this position assists with the daily operations of the department and provides leadership and direction to the assigned team.

Job Title: Customer Service Team Lead- Import

Location: Long Beach, CA

Schedule: Full time, Monday- Friday 8:30am- 5pm

Position type: Temp to perm

Pay rate: $23-$25/hr DOE

Duties:

-Work with and communicate with customers: steamship lines and truckers

-Maintain documents, update AS400, collect necessary documents for AES, BL, billing invoices, and more

-Accounts receivable duties for accounts

-Assist with monitoring daily operations, provide support and instruction to assigned team and overall help ensure  procedures are being followed and productivity is maximized

-Prepare customer quotes

-Other relevant duties as requested

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent, approximately 5 years relevant work experience in logistics industry preferred

-Ability to work in a team environment

-Professional written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills

-Organized and very detail oriented

-Able to multitask and remain professional in different situations
