Job Type: Full-time; on-site

Hours: Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the development of corporate finance strategy and communicate to executive leadership the plans
• Cultivating strong cross-functional relationships with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Operations, R & D/Engineering, Sales, and HR
• Develop policies and procedures to improve the accuracy and efficiency of close and reporting processes
• Develop and perform complex financial models and reports providing analytics to senior management, develop and maintain dashboards, KPI’s, and other performance trackers
• Developing and maintaining accurate costing systems in relation to labor, production methods, and material supply
• Maintaining standard costs of raw materials, packaging, machines, and finished goods
• Coordinate cycle-counting activities and physical inventory counts; investigate count discrepancies and reconcile the inventory
• Produce monthly account reconciliations, post monthly journal entries, and review, analyze, correct, and issue monthly comparative financial statements.
• Manage accounting and corporate financial functions including, monthly close, accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, financial planning, and reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Controller role
• 2-3 years previous cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
• Ability to manage large amounts of data
